Multi-Agent Parallelism: Isolation and Integration

For personal projects, the previous chapter may already be sufficient. A single Agent running autonomously long-term, continuing across sessions, and your productivity has already increased by an order of magnitude. If you have multiple independent projects, the most straightforward way to scale is to run a separate Agent for each project.

But if you are building large-scale complex software in an enterprise, a single Agent's throughput has a ceiling. You need multiple Agents developing different parts of the same system in parallel. This is a classic problem that software engineering has been solving for decades: isolation, integration, and consistency in distributed parallel development. One person writing code does not need git; multi-person collaboration requires version control, branching strategies, and CI/CD. Agents face the same problems, except their speed amplifies the scale of the problems by an order of magnitude.
